Frequently Asked Questions
Got questions?
You're not alone. Here's what many women want to know before getting started with Natured Wellness.
Getting Started
-
Naturopathy is a holistic form of healthcare that blends natural therapies with evidence-based science. It looks at the root cause of health concerns, not just symptoms, and treats the whole person. At Natured Wellness, I use naturopathic principles to support hormonal balance, autoimmunity, and burnout recovery with practical, realistic care.
-
No referral is needed. You can book a consultation directly through the website. I also offer a short free clarity call to help you decide if this is the right fit.
-
The clarity call is a 15-minute, no-obligation chat to discuss what you're experiencing, ask any questions and see whether we’d be a good match to work together. It’s informal, supportive and completely pressure-free.
-
All consultations are currently delivered online via secure video link. This makes it easier to fit sessions into busy schedules, no matter where you're located in Australia.
-
Once you've booked, you'll receive a detailed intake form to complete before your session. You’re also welcome to send through any recent blood test results or medical reports if you have them.
Consultation Details
-
Initial consultations are 60 minutes so we can fully explore your history, symptoms and goals. Follow-ups are usually 30 to 45 minutes depending on your needs and progress.
-
You’ll receive a personalised treatment plan tailored to your symptoms, lifestyle and preferences. This may include dietary and lifestyle recommendations, supplement advice, functional testing options or referrals if needed.
-
Yes. I offer functional testing for hormone health, gut function, food sensitivities, nutrient status and more. These tests go beyond standard blood work and help uncover the underlying drivers of your symptoms.
-
Not necessarily. My approach is to keep treatment plans simple and achievable. If supplements are recommended, they are chosen carefully and only when truly beneficial for your situation.
-
This depends on your specific health goals and how your body responds. Most clients start with an initial consultation followed by two or three review sessions over several months. We decide together what support is best for you.
Conditions I Support
-
Yes, this is one of my core areas of focus. I help women manage symptoms like fatigue, brain fog, anxiety, sleep disruption, weight changes and hot flushes with strategies that are personalised, safe and grounded in science.
-
Yes. I support clients with autoimmune conditions including thyroid disease, IBD, rheumatoid arthritis, MS and lupus. My goal is to improve quality of life by addressing inflammation, immunity and the underlying drivers of your symptoms.
-
Absolutely. I help women manage conditions such as PMS, endometriosis, irregular cycles, PMDD, PCOS and hormonal acne. My treatment plans consider your symptoms, your stage of life and what outcomes matter to you most.
-
That’s perfectly fine. Naturopathic care can complement conventional treatment. I work safely alongside your existing healthcare team and always ensure recommendations are appropriate for your medical history.
-
Yes. I support women dealing with burnout, especially those in high-pressure roles or caring professions. I focus on restoring energy, improving sleep, calming the nervous system and rebuilding resilience through personalised care.
Treatment and Safety
-
Yes. As a degree-qualified and ATMS-accredited naturopath, I follow professional guidelines and ethical standards. I base all recommendations on your personal history and current health, and only use products that are safe and well-researched.
-
No. I will never ask you to stop taking prescribed medication. If you are interested in making changes, we can talk about it openly and in collaboration with your doctor or specialist.
-
Conventional care is often focused on diagnosis and managing symptoms. I work to complement that approach by addressing root causes and supporting long-term wellness. My care is also more collaborative, with time to explain things fully and adapt the plan to your needs.

-
Yes, especially if those things haven’t been tailored to you. Many clients come to me feeling frustrated or confused after trying supplements, diets or advice that didn’t deliver results. My role is to simplify things and create a plan that feels right for your body and your lifestyle.
Logistics and Booking
-
You can book through the Contact or Services page. Once you’ve chosen your session, you’ll receive an email confirmation with all the details, including how to prepare and join the consultation.
-
You can find pricing details on the Services page. The clarity call is free, and individual consultations are billed per session. Functional testing is quoted separately based on your needs.
-
At this time, services are pay-per-session. I always work with clients to prioritise what’s most important and avoid unnecessary costs.
-
I currently offer individual sessions to keep care flexible. In future, I may offer structured packages for clients who prefer a longer-term plan or bundled support.
-
Naturopathic consultations are in the process of being re-added to Australian private health funds which may take a few months and may not be available through every fund. Regardless of if the service is covered, I aim to keep services accessible and offer strong value for each session.

Final Question
I’m not sure if this is right for me. Can we talk?
Yes. That’s exactly what the free clarity call is for. It’s a chance to ask questions, share a bit about what’s going on and see if working together feels like the right next step.
